By this method a known amount of air is fed to a filter.
The dust in the air is trapped with an efficiency > 99%.
The total dust particles are the sum of the respiratory
and thoral fractions.

Iso-kinetic dust analysis (dust-emissions)

During sampling the linear velocity of the sampling gas in the
the sample-probe is equal to the linear velocity of the main stream.

Optical dust monitoring

With the on-site dust monitor the particles in the air are
measured directly. The technique is based on the
reflection of infra red light.

Calibration and validation can performed for all methods.
